Reed Diffuser Guide
The Art of Diffusion: Your Laboratory Guide
Welcome to your personal scent laboratory. You have in your hands not just a fragrance, but a meticulously formulated aromatic compound designed to transform your space. Our diffusers offer a continuous, immersive olfactive journey, releasing our curated notes through a process of natural capillary action.
Follow this method to activate your scent experiment and calibrate the perfect atmosphere.
THE APPARATUS
Insided your kit, you will find:
- The Vessel: One (1) glass flask containing the fragrance elixir.
- The Preservation Cap: A snug plastic seal to ensure the integrity of the formulation.
- The Aesthetic Collar: The polished decorative lid that stabilizes the reeds.
- The Scent Reeds: A set of high-absorption reeds, the conduits for diffusion.
THE METHOD
Step 1: Prepare the Vessel
Place the vessel on a stable, non-porous surface. First, unscrew and set aside the polished Aesthetic Collar. Next, with firm but gentle pressure, remove the Preservation Cap from the vessel's opening. You may now securely discard the cap. Screw the Aesthetic Collar back onto the vessel until it is snug.
Step 2: Introduce the Reeds
Immerse your new scent reeds through the opening of the Aesthetic Collar and into the elixir within the vessel. Arrange them artfully; they are the wicks that will draw the fragrance formulation upwards.
Step 3: Allow for Activation
Allow a minimum of 24 hours for the fragrance to fully saturate the reeds and begin its diffusion. Patience is a key element to any successful experiment; the scent will gradually blossom and stabilize, filling your space with its signature character.
CALIBRATING YOUR ATMOSPHERE
Control the intensity of your fragrance with scientific precision.
- For a Subtle Presence: Begin your experiment with 4-5 reeds. This will produce a more delicate, nuanced scent profile, ideal for smaller, enclosed spaces.
- For a Robust Experience: For a more powerful and enveloping aromatic presence, use all the reeds provided. This is recommended for larger, open-plan areas.
ONGOING OBSERVATION & MAINTENANCE
- The Olfactive Boost: After the first 24 hours, and then once every week, carefully invert the reeds. This re-saturates the exposed ends, reinvigorating the diffusion process and providing a fresh burst of fragrance.
- Optimal Placement: Position your diffuser in an area with good air circulation to allow the scent molecules to travel effectively. An entryway, living room, or busy hallway is an excellent location.
LABORATORY SAFETY PROTOCOLS
- To prevent any potential reaction, place a coaster or tray under your vessel to protect delicate surfaces from essential oil drips.
- The fragrance elixir is not for consumption. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Keep the apparatus out of reach of pets and children.
- Ensure the vessel is kept away from sources of heat or open flame.
Your Reed Diffuser is now active. Enjoy the elemental transformation of your space.
